Welcome to :AM CLEANING YYC, a boutique-style cleaning company dedicated to using natural cleaning products while serving clients in Calgary and surrounding areas, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic Office Assistant to help keep our operations running like clockwork!

 

As the ideal candidate, you have worked hands-on in high-volume roles with a lot of moving pieces. You must love scheduling as much as you love Tetris, chess or Sudoku as this makes up about 70% of your day. Experience with scheduling challenges such as in a medical reception or logistics role will be an asset to successfully organize client appointments and team availability.

WHAT  YOU'LL DO AS OFFICE ASSISTANT:​​

Your day will be as diverse as our clientele! Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll handle:​

  • Direct calls and address inquiries with a professional and friendly demeanor.

  • Organize team’s and clients' schedule, which includes 50+ of clients' appointments per week; handle changes with efficiency, ensuring everyone is in the right place at the right time.

  • Do light bookkeeping like sending invoices and scanning receipts.

  • Manage confidential materials, keep files up to date, generate reports, and assist in organizing team's work orders and meetings.

  • Prepare timesheets and onboarding files for new hires. 

  • Monitor supplies and place orders to ensure office is well-stocked.

  • Assist with clerical duties and contribute wherever needed to keep the team running smoothly.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: You see the problem, you discuss the problem and you offer a solution.

  • Tech Savvy: You’re proficient in Google Suite, advanced in Excel and can grasp and master any apps fast. We use Jobber CRM, ChatGPT, LOOM, Slack and others.

LOGISTICS:

  • Full time position, $20-22/hour.

  • Monday to Friday, 7:30 - 4:00 

  • Located at 4030 8 ST SE, Calgary, AB with occasional hybrid shifts (upon approval).

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in logistics or scheduling roles.

  • Experience with a cleaning, HVAC, or similar service industry office position is an asset.

  • Passion for customer service and logistics.

  • Proficient in written and spoken English, Ukrainian language skills are an asset.

  • Clean background criminal check.

  • Must be able to occasionally lift 30lbs., bend, kneel, and twist while performing the necessary inventory stocking duties when needed.
